Geelong Race 1 - Autumn Charm

Nice debut by this Nick Ryan trained filly who got back in a small field on a day that heavily favoured those leading and on speed. She'd jumped out well leading in and probably just found 1100m on this track too sharp but she got home well, running the second fastest last 200m of the meeting. She'll go close next time out over a touch further.


Warwick Farm Race 1 - The Roaring Sun

Similar story here with a two-year-old by the Autumn Sun on debut who charged home, getting a long way back, looping the field and just going down to the heavily supported stablemate who dashed through an inside gap having debuted in a Group 2. No doubt he'll get further in time and can win next time of asking.
