Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Orange, Kempsey, Werribee and Geraldton.

ORANGE: RACE 5 @ 4:35 PM

BURROWA (4) was a sharp improver second-up when chasing gamely to finish hot on the heels of JAK at the Sapphire Coast. Gets a nice pull at the weights with the 3kg claimer engaged, is peaking now and can go one better. STARLINK (3) continues to leave herself with plenty to do but is savaging the line. With weight relief from the 3kg claim she could be very hard to stop if close enough when straightening. EAST HARLEM (15) had excuses last start when slow to recover but his prior form stacks right up for this. Gets in well with the claim and has wet track form. Don't take lightly. NAVAL OFFICER (10) next best.
SELECTIONS: Burrowa to win.

KEMPSEY: RACE 2 @ 2:25 PM

RIVER BISCOTTE (1) nine-start Maiden with his hoof on the till. Struggled to see the 1450m out when a fading fourth here in a Super Maiden. Tongue-tie goes on and assess on some of his earlier efforts. SMOKEY SAINT (2) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Taree, then jumped in trip for a battling seventh over 1308m at Taree. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. DIVINE ABBY (4) Divine Prophet mare from Easy Rock on debut for the David Campbell stable. Ran fifth in her only trial over 806m at Coffs Harbour. Must be respected from the inside gate. NA HAMAH (7) deep into the prep and quickly running out of chances. Finds a suitable race on the quick backup and goes into the exotics.
SELECTIONS: River Biscotte can shed his Maiden ststus.

WERRIBEE: RACE 1 @ 2:00 PM

INSAIN HARRY (2) is fresh from a spell of five months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Kyneton over 1103m. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Flemington trial. Expecting a bright start for the new stable. ZUBBA STORM (6) is in great hands and showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1100m at Moe. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. HEXED (13) will be better for the debut outing, when she was beaten a long way but the winner of that race might be pretty smart. She'd trialled well before that so happy to give another chance. FORWARD HO (7) is the lone debutant in the race and while you probably would have liked to see more at the jumpouts, there's not a lot of depth to this so any significant market moves need to be respected.
SELECTIONS: Insain Harry to win.

GERALDTON: RACE 6 @ 5:16 PM

SNIPPETY LEGEND (3) made it back-to-back wins here last start with a 0.4L victory over 1407m, with the form out of that race stacking up strongly. He looks a nice horse on the rise and the in-form Galati remains in the saddle and while he may get back in the run, he can storm over the top to bring up the hat-trick. CANTILEVER (5) got a long way back last time out over the mile trip and looks better suited coming back to this trip now. He was a good winner as favourite here two back and he maps for a similar run today. Can return to his best form. THE RUSH (2) just missed here fresh before a slightly disappointing effort last time out. Out to this trip now where she's had success previously and she draws much better today. Expecting her to bounce back to her best today. GET OUT MICK (4) finished off strongly last start at Bunbury and looks well placed here on the back of that effort. ODIN OMEN (10) can make his presence felt third-up into the campaign.
SELECTIONS: Snippety Legend can bring up the hat-trick.
