QUIRINDI: RACE 3 @ 2:20 PM
PRESS FORWARD (1) hit the line strongly to grab second over this trip at Dubbo last start, adding to a recent run of good form this campaign. Boasts a consistent record at the distance and shapes as one of the top chances. TOO DARN LOVELY (2) has been right around the mark of late, sticking on gamely to finish third over 1000m at Gunnedah. Is ticking along nicely and looks poised to go close again with natural improvement. DEVOTED DEPUTY (4) was below par last time at Port Macquarie but had scored with determination at Gunnedah the start prior. Has shown solid form at this trip and gets the chance to bounce back. MANAGE THE CYCLE (7) is yet to strike fresh but is 1/1 at this venue and does rate highly on best figures. Respect any market moves.
SELECTIONS: Leaning to Press Forward.

MORNINGTON: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM
WILLIAMSTOWN (2) looks tough to beat here back home where he is unbeaten. Was a BM64 winner here two back then tackled a deeper race at Caulfield Heath latest and was beaten a couple of lengths. This suits and gets chance to immediately bounce back. TAPA CAPALL (4) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 2.25 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1500m at this track. Fitter again and nicely placed to feature in the finish. CUDMORE STREET (3) bombed the start and flashed home two back then got off the mark with a strong finishing win latest. Keeps improving despite being six with only seven career runs and can go on with it. MORISA (7) is fitter for a fair return but best figures stack up here so look for a much better run.
SELECTIONS: Hard to go past Williamstown.
