Today’s Horse Racing Tips – 4th October 2022

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for October 4.

Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Goulburn, Mildura and Rockhampton.

GOULBURN: RACE 5 @ 3:40 PM

CONDRIEU (1) showed ability with a close-up third at Newcastle on debut and will have taken a lot of benefit from that day at the races. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and Latham was on board for that placing and sticks. Looks the one they all have to run down. THE PERCENTAGE (12) has hit the top-four at his past three outings and is getting close to a maiden victory. Respect from the Sargent barn. FIERCE LEGEND (4) wasn't too far away when resuming and will strip much fitter for that hit-out. Bold showing expected. Local BRINGBACKTHEBEARS (8) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Condrieu to win.

MILDURA: RACE 5 @ 3:30 PM

BRUNO STARS (16) hasn't won for some time but is desperately close to a win. Tried to pinch the race last start on the speed before tiring to run third at Donald over 2200m. Dean Yendall sticks and expected to figure prominently. BANNERTON (2) is racing in the best form of his career and drops in grade. Has excellent stats this track and trip. SWEAR BY HER (13) disappointed last start but if she can find the form that saw her finish second at this track two runs back she is in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Bruno Stars each-way.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 4 @ 3:35 PM

AGE OF INNOCENCE (3) has been a revelation since moving to Queensland and was again too strong fresh up making it four wins in a row. She will be even sharper second up and has no problem with a wet track. She is clearly the one to beat. IN ORDER (5) was disappointing when being well beaten as a favourite at Mackay but should relish returning to this track. She has yet to miss a cheque in eight starts here including five wins. She has placed three times this campaign and won't be far away. WHOSHOTTHEMAGICIAN (6) was making up late ground when finishing fourth at Mackay last time out, after winning his two prior starts. He is drawn perfectly on the inside and gets the blinkers removed for today's assignment. Each-way in a good field.
SELECTIONS: Age Of Innocence win bet.
