Satono Reve starts the G1 season with a win

That was in the 58th Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo.

And Satono Reve had won Takamatsunomiya Kinen last year as well.  He had Lemaire on board this year but the horse was saying "doesn't matter who is up there this is my race!"  There was a surprise second in Red Mon Reve 66/1 and Win Carnelian's third place justified the decision to stay in Japan.

On Saturday at Hanshin favourite Altramuz won the Mainichi Hai from Lorbeerkranz 4/1 and Kafuji Emmental .  And at Nakayama the Nikkei Sho G2 was won by My Universe with Mikumi Inspire second and Roushan Park third.
