More names for Kentucky
After the weekend's Derbys in Arizona and Florida we can add two more names.
The Arkansas Derby was an easy win for Renegade with Silent Tactic and Taptastic following. He probably had enough points already but the extra 50 makes it sure.
In Florida Commandment won and is definitely heading now to Kentucky. The Puma was only a nose away so he may also be going in that direction and Chief Wallabee ran well for third. The disappointment in the race was Nearly whose fourth place finish may not be enough to get him in – we had him as our winner at while ago so it will be back to the drawing board.
The Gulfstream Park Oaks went to Prom Queen from My Miss Mo and She Be Smooth.
That was the last day of the meeting at Gulfstream where Saffie Joseph emerged the leading trainer and Irad Ortiz the leading jockey.
