French banker of the day - 9th December 2025

Tuesday’s French banker is a hurdling recruit who was formerly trained by André Fabre.

Allure (Noel George & Amanda Zetterholm / James Reveley) Fontainebleau– R6 – Prix du Fer A Cheval

- Useful on the flat winning a maiden and placing in Listed company subsequently

- Has joined a powerful yard for his jumping career and has the star quality in this field.

Allure goes over hurdles for the first time in public this afternoon at Fontainebleau and looks more than good enough to make the perfect start to his new career for Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm.

Having taken time to break his maiden, eventually doing so at the fifth attempt on heavy ground at Saint-Cloud, Allure took his form to a new level in August when finishing third in the Listed Prix Michel Houyvet at Deauville. Following that effort he was upped to Group 3 company at Longchamp and ran with credit before disappointing back down in trip at listed level on his final start for André Fabre. Now in the care of the George and Zetterholm stable, Allure is sure to have been well schooled ahead of this hurdles debut and rates as an exciting recruit to the jumping ranks.

Allure is out of the dam Aniysa, a maiden winner on the flat. Allure is a half-brother to two other winners including two-year-old winner from this season, Kendelya (Victor Ludorum).

Whilst Allure must take on more experienced rivals today, he has a clear class edge over them and is expected to get off the mark at the first attempt over obstacles.
