Lesslepasser dug deep to get the better of Estepona when they met over course and distance in the Class 2 Prix des Barnolets but there is strong reason to suspect that the latter can reverse the form.

Trained by Mauricio Delcher Sanchez, Estepona caught the eye travelling strongly throughout that day but was forced to surrender first run to the eventual winner Lesslepasser, who having made most of the running, also had the benefit of the near side rail as the pair fought neck and neck in attritional conditions.

Whilst there's no doubt that Estepona does handle that testing ground, he ought to be slightly happier back on a better surface here, especially with that reappearance run under his belt.

A lack of a recent run looked the difference between winning and losing last time out, so with a step forward expected, he's a confident selection to reverse the placings.
