Daniela Dwyer Foundation voted as final 2025 Canberra Community Chest Partner
The Canberra community has rallied behind the Daniela Dwyer Foundation, voting the organisation as the 12th and final charity partner in the 2025 Canberra Community Chest, giving them the opportunity to race for their share of $50,000.
This marks the Daniela Dwyer Foundation’s second consecutive People’s Choice win, reflecting the Canberra community’s trust and admiration of the organisation which aims to raise funds for brain cancer research.
“It feels incredibly rewarding and humbling to have the community’s support once again.” Kevin Dwyer, founder of the Daniela Dwyer Foundation said.

The Daniela Dwyer Foundation is helping to drive advances in groundbreaking brain cancer research through a world-first digital liquid biopsy platform, which entered a stage one clinical trial earlier this year across multiple Australian hospitals.
“The Community Chest’s support ensures we can continue processing and expanding access to this groundbreaking platform, ultimately helping more patients and families benefit from earlier, non-invasive, and more accurate cancer detection and treatment options.”

The Canberra Community Chest, held on Sunday, 23 November 2025, brings together 12 local charities each year to race for their share of $50,000.
Each of the partners will be united with an equine hero, who will represent them in the race, at a Black-Tie event on Thursday, 20 November.
