Australian thoroughbred meeting are today held at Beaumont Newcastle and Terang.

BEAUMONT (NEWCASTLE): RACE 4 @ 3:40 PM

DON'T SAY DO (2) is heading in the right direction and at her top for this fourth-up. Nailed late when second over 1308m at Taree from the awkward gate. Has a high cruising speed and will prove hard o run down with Small's 2kg claim. LINDA'S PRINCESS (6) deep into the preparation and finally draws a decent gate. Used up early from the outside gate when a fading fourth over 1308m at Taree. Can stalk the speed today and play a leading role. CORVETTE PRIDE (4) resumed with a plugging third over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Regular apprentice keeps the ride and place claims look best. PURPLE PRINCE (7) gave away a big start from the wide gate when an eye-catching sixth over 1609m at Taree. Drops in trip for this and he gets a better set-up today. Each-way.
SELECTIONS: Don't Say Do can shed her Maiden status.

TERANG: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM

MOVE THE TORANA (11) brings strong provincial form to resumption. Has an awkward barrier but she can come back further improved. Kersley stays aboard suggesting she's ready to go. Well placed and happy to have her on top. WATT ON EARTH (6) was narrowly beaten at Donald and at Ballarat the one before. Drops back 200m but has the inside barrier and rates to be in the finish. PETROULA (15) peaks for the Dwyer stable and is still racing shy of her best efforts. John Allen goes aboard and she finally draws a reasonable barrier. MORAL TURPITUDE (16) fought on well placing at Donald. Hard-fit now and maps for a soft run. Each way claims.
SELECTIONS: Backing Move The Torana to win.
