Thrilling Pegasus World Cup

On a night with quite a few upsets perhaps the biggest came with Skippylongstocking in the Pegasus World Cup.

Skippylongstocking showed something of his old self as he held off White Abarrio who was also showing plenty of his old self in a great duel in the straight.  Full Serrano, the Argentine bred also showed something of the former strength to just hold out our roughie Captain Cook for the third spot.  Disco Time had been the favourite and he is the most gorgeous horse to look at but he's young and didn't quite run the trip out.

The Pegasus Invitational went to our pick Test Score with the South African newcomer One Stripe a good second and Almendares third.

The Pegasus F&M was a golden affair with the winner being Destino d'Oro and the second Crevalle d'Oro and they are not related! 

The Inside Information went to Grand Job, and earlier the Christophe Clement was won by Speed Shopper, the Fred W Hooper by Knightsbridge and the McKnight to Layabout.
