Ka Ying Rising to the Stratosphere

As the champ goes for his 18th successive win on Sunday the question is how high can he rise?

He will run in the G1 Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup over 1400m against 13 good horses but not quite at the same level.  David Hayes is confident and we presume Zac Purton likewise as he comes into the race in top form.

Should something extraordinary happen and he doesn't win, the two likely pouncers are Helios Express and Galaxy Patch who have been unfortunate enough to come into racing and encounter Ka Ying Rising.

The Cup is Race 8, and as an aperetif we have the Orchid Handicap at Race 4, a 1000m Class 2 over 1000m with only seven runners.  Stellar Express has won his last two outings and could be in line for the third here with Size putting up Atzeni and they are on 3.8.  Colourful King is the favourite here on 1.8 for David Eustace and Zac but we don't like that price and our old mate Dromberg Banner showed a bit of a return to form last time so we like the each-way 14.0.
