Double Feature Day at Sha Tin

The Hong Kong Gold Cup and the Classic Cup feature on Sunday's card.

Race 7 is the Gold Cup and this is what Romantic Warrior has stayed home for – a chance to win the Triple Crown by adding this leg to his Stewards Cup victory.  It's only got 6 runners given the presence of Romantic Warrior in the field and is over 2000m.

Romantic Warrior is money back and his most consistent rival and Triple Crown winner Voyage Bubble is on 11.0.  If you want a trifecta and anything you like, but we will just be watching a wonderful horse do his thing.

Race 9 the Classic Cup is the middle leg of the 4yo series which leads into the Derby and there are 14 runners trying the 1800m test, a distance that is new for most of the field.

Little Paradise has been hitting the headlines for all the right reasons and has star quality aplenty.  Ting has the horse's regular partner Vincent Ho on board and at present they are on 2.6.  Numbers is another very promising runner from Frankie Lor's barn and will have Leung on board as usual and they are on 4.4. 

Those two look like the major players in this field and so we have gone a bit wide with the third pick by adding Patch of Cosmo on 27.0 for Man-McMonagle.
