Whistle jacket
Upset in the Balanchine at Meydan
Friday's feature finished without the favourite in the first three.
Godolphin's Blue Nazare had been made favourite in the UK on the strength of a debut win in the UK but we didn't like the odds for a 3yo first-time traveller. However out tip was also not in the top 3.
The winner was Fairy Glen for the Crisfords-Barzalona on 4/1 with Bayebarke 40/1 and Dubai Treasure who turned the tables on his stablemate Dubai Beach for the third spot.
The G3 Nad Al Sheba Trophy on the turf went to Tom Clover's Al Nayyir with Rossa Ryan on board with Sunway second and By The Book third.
The Listed UAE Oaks (surely due for an upgrade?) went to bin Ghadayer's Labwah with Pinheiro riding who was favourite.
