WARWICK FARM: RACE 7 @ 5:15 PM

ZOURIPPER (3) overcame a slow start to flash home and just miss in the three-way go last time out over this distance at Wyong. That was his first appearance in 23 weeks so there is plenty of improvement to come. Scored a big win here at this trip last prep. Makes plenty of each-way appeal at double-figure odds.

GEELONG: RACE 6 @ 4:15 PM

Keen to stick with BRUISER MURPHY (3) who ran some slick late sectionals at Pakenham in a Class 1 last start, rattling home for a narrow fifth in a handy race. The debut win prior at Moe was impressive and if he can just land midfield here he'll go mighty close.

DOOMBEN: RACE 1 @ 2:38 PM

WOODROW (9) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four in all four career outings to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Will be ready to peak now third run back from a spell and maps ideally for this from gate two. Hails from an astute barn and rates the testing material against this lot.

ASCOT: RACE 9 @ 5:05 PM

WEMBANYAMA (7) was super first-up over an unsuitable trip, flying late to miss behind an in-form galloper by 0.6L. Straight up to 1400m is a big tick and he shouldn't be too far back from the draw. He ticks plenty of boxes here and with sharp improvement expected, he can get back to winning ways.

BALAKLAVA: RACE 2 @ 2:45 PM

THUNDARA (11) is desperate to break through soon, hitting the line strongly in her first three starts. The rise to the mile looks perfect fourth-up and she gets the chance to settle much closer drawing the inside pillar. Is the one to beat.
