Mothecombe wins the Lord North
At Meydan on Friday the Godolphin runner was an easy winner.
Ridden by Richie Mullins as Buick couldn't do the very light weight, Mothecombe was an easy winner by 1 ¼ lengths over Fort George with Native American a similar distance back in third. The Lord North produced a new record so this is definitely one to keep an eye on.
In the Al Wasi 1200m the victory went to the Crisfords Flying Comet who under Silvester de Souza flew down the straight 1200m and defied his 91/1 odds. Second home was Post Modern and the third place went to Maximized on 17/1.
