Wellington trainer Shane Nichols was well pleased when the first starter three-year-old filly Esha took the opening event of 1000 metres on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Trainer Michael Hickmott continued his good run when Party Crasher won his third race from five starts in the 2250 metre second race.
Making it two wins in a row Party Crasher was guided to victory by Jake Toeroek after being well placed.
Jockey Lachlan brought up a good win when Falanghina took out the 1400 metre third race.
Coming off a last start fourth at Murray Bridge the Phillip Stokes trained Falanghina came with a good rails-run to meet with success.
Talented apprentice Felicity Atkinson continued her good strike rate of late when she steered Rubini to a win in the 1400 metre fourth race.
Presenting co-trainers Gordon Richards and Damien Moyle with a win Rubini came with a strong rails-run from well back.

Being under the care of Ron Daniels and Trish Stansbury at Murray Bridge and being first up after a spell Colmar raced one off the pace before getting to the front at the 1300 metre mark.
Coming off a previous start fourth on the Parks track the Darryl Hewitt prepared Sir Now brought up a win in the 1000 metre eighth race.
Guided to a win by apprentice Margaret Collett Sir Now was always in touch with the leading division.
The consistent five-year-old mare Tosen Water proved too good for her rivals when she took out the 1250 metre final event.
Prepared on the provincial track of Gawler by Gary and Nichole Searle and Brianna Callanan the Teagan Voorham ridden Tosen Water was well placed.
