Caulfield Heath Race 2 - Job Done

Very strong win first up by this progressive three-year-old who raced wide and had a lot of ground to make up on a well-ridden leader but did so with eye-catching late strength over 1000m, putting big margins back through the field and running to a new peak RAS rating of 97. He'd promised plenty last time in with big late splits on debut and a strong expected rating in a good race at Flemington next time out, which he's delivered on here. He looks Group class.

Warwick Farm Race 1 - Ice Kool

Interesting drift on this horse who was friendless late in betting off a 5 length trial win leading in to his debut but he proved that wrong and then some, leading throughout in slick time to win by 3.5 lengths. He gave most of the field weight, some older than him, and ran faster time by around 1.5 lengths than the BM72 winner on the day in Swordplay who was also a dominant winner, carrying 5kg more than that horse. He looks very smart and can go through the grades if they keep him in work.
