Midweek racing from Sandown Hillside & Canterbury and we've got a horse to follow from each meeting.

Canterbury Race 4 - Cinsault

She's been a frustrating filly to follow having finished in the placings in all seven starts to date, often when heavily favoured by the market. She's been running good races behind some well-regarded types and just didn't have the right run here around the tight turning circuit, forced to wait for a run and then swing very wide while the first two cut the corner and saved a couple of lengths. She was off a year-long spell leading into this campaign and should be ready to peak next time, out of a strongly run race here. Don't drop off!

Sandown Hillside Race 9 - Feeling Dusty

Tricky day to stamp one to follow. Knobelas in race two is clearly very progressive but was gifted the race on a platter, while the same cannot be said for Charlotte Littlefield's progressive gelding. He'd won a 0-64 very strongly at Pakenham but was just given none here from a wide gate, taken a long way back and left with too much to do, running on strongly for second. First and third here sat 1-2 in running and Feeling Dusty looks like 2000m next time out will be ideal, especially if he draws a gate.
