Winning Trainer: Michael Freedman

On the win: "If I'm being honest it was a little bit of a shy at the stumps because on facts and figures, you probably wouldn't have thought we could beat Lazzura. It does go to show you get a good mare in really good form, fit, it can make all the difference. I'm sure Lazzura will be better for the run today."

On taking up the challenge: "We had a good chat with Jason at Godolphin earlier this week and said it's a little bit of a hail mary but when you have these sort of mares in form, why don't we have a crack at black type. They said go with whatever you think. Rapt to get that result for them."

On the Coolmore?: "Probably don't make decisions on race day. Who knows, let's see how she pulls up. If she pulls up really well, maybe we do give that some thought."

Re Apocalyptic: "I was a bit deflated after last week but I think there was a couple of reasons for it. She worked great this morning. Looking forward to taking on Tempted next week."

Winning Jockey: Chad Schofield

On the win: "Very gutsy. She (Cinsault) actually beat me in a ding-dong finish last start and I can see why. She's very gutsy, she just wants to give you everything she has. There was probably a bit more pressure early in the race than I would've liked, but we were up there travelling well.

"I waited until we straightened to come off the leader's back and when Lazzura didn't put me away early I thought "right, we're the fit horse, we'll get you later. She was the stronger of the two late."

Beaten Jockeys:

James McDonald (Lazzura): "She just knocked up the last furlong."

Nash Rawiller (Cilacap): "A lovely mare. Better for the experience today I think around Sydney. A nice race in her. A bit more cut out of the ground helps her too."

Tommy Berry (Pinito): "Shouldn't have to say too much. Had a flashing light on her. A mile to 2000m is right up her alley."

Tyler Schiller (Dark Glitter): "She is in really good form. I think going up that little bit in trip will suit. She got dragged a bit out of the race today. Made up good ground late."

Dylan Gibbons (Modella): "Really good run. Got very hot and bothered. Taken that into account, she has good improvement."

Tim Clark (Heat Missile): "She gave a sight for a while. But back in trip, up in grade found her out."

Jason Collett (Super Norwest): "A bit disappointing to not back up after last week."

Zac Lloyd (Mareth): "She is a nice filly. Will compete very well. Probably needs to find something at her own age and sex."
