Eagle Farm – 30th October 2021

Saturday's Eagle Farm meeting features some short-priced favourites but one offering better value is Kingscote.

Scott Morrisey's sprinter has been going very well with a string of top-two finishes incluidng a Doomben win over this distance.

Kingscote gave a good sight when leading and fighting on well last start and is building a consistent record at this trip.

He comes in well at the weights after the claim and ratings suggest he will be hard to catch.

One worth a throw at the stumps at each way odds is The Dark later in the program.

The gelding is ticking alonhg nicley with a series of close-up efforts at this track, missing by just half a length when third last time.

He should get the favours from the low draw and offers decent value with Mark Du Plessis aboard in an open affair.
