Australian thoroughbred TAB meeting are today held at Tamworth and Tatura.

TAMWORTH: RACE 8 @ 5:10 PM

SPECK (8) classy mare set to peak fourth up. Closed strongly with the 59kg when a sound fourth over 900m at Newcastle in BM64 grade. Goes well at this track and trip and should prove too strong for these. SUPER SIOUX (7) racing in a rich vein of form and down sharply in weight in this harder contest. Another with a good record here who shapes as the main danger. MYSTERY LAD (1) anchored with the 60.5kg when a solid on pace second over 1200m at this track. Gets map favours and his best form is over this trip. Respect. FEMME FATALE (6) ran an improved race finishing midfield last start at this track, capable of getting into the money.
SELECTIONS: Speck looks ready to win.

TATURA: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM

CHEEKY CONTIKI (9) was tough winning on debut at Pakenham Synthetic over this trip, scoring by a nose. The Hayes yard have found another ideal race for her against fairly limited opposition and with natural improvement she can make it two from two. NONSHALAANT (4) struggled last time at Wangaratta at 1100m but should be in this for longer back to 1000m. BRONCO REVOLUTION (13) is stuck on the one win from 19 starts to date but was solid when finding one better at Echuca last time out and a repeat of that effort sees her in the finish. MISSED THE MARK (1) has the big weight but will find this easier than last time.
SELECTIONS: Cheeky Contiki to win.
