Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher

After finishing second in Big Dance last year: "Gets her ticket again now so hopefully she can go one better. Rapt, she's very good at running second this mare and when Brownie (jockey Ethan Brown) pushed the button fairly early I thought I was like 'oh god.' But it's a long straight and one of my mates actually said 'you're home'."

On the training effort: "The team have done a good job, she trains up on the beach up at Newcastle. She stays up a long time and it's great to get a win on a big day."

On the horse: "She's a funny horse, she would probably get further again. She can start big dancing."

Winning Jockey: Ethan Brown

On the horse: "She's as honest as the day is long. She was prepared terrifically for today, she was in great order the horse."

On the run: "She lobbed in a lovely spot. I would've been filthy if I got beat because I did push the button a bit early, but I think she thrived off of that. She hadn't hit the front for a long time, it will give her plenty of confidence."

"She doesn't quicken very well, so I just made sure I used her fitness and build and we got it right by a centimetre I reckon. That will be great for her confidence, she's always had the ability but that Big Dance race, she'll be very well suited for that."

On Jimmysstar in The Everest: "Feeling confident as ever. He's going to need luck as he always does, I think everyone is aware of that. I'm on the right horse and he's going to be hitting the line strong, put it that way. Just pray for gaps I think."

Beaten Jockeys:

Benjamin Osmond (Loch Eagle): "Just run off his feet today. On the dry track he's crying out for wet ground."

Declan Bates (Detonator Jack): "He has run a nice race. Just lacked a turn of foot when he needed it. Ground away nicely to the line."

Tim Clark (Major Beel): "Honest enough effort first up. Will appreciate further."

Regan Bayliss (Ducasse): "Enjoyed a lovely run. Obviously carried 4kg more than he did last year. Was a brave effort."

Dylan Gibbons (Swiftfalcon): "I don't know what more we can do with him. Great run."

Tom Sherry (Redstone Well): "Ran really well. Just up in distance."

Kerrin McEvoy (Grebeni): "Just had to settle too far back from that draw."

Andrew Adkins (Strait Acer): "Just missed the start a little bit. Got into a really good rhythm. Would have liked to find the line a little better than he did."

Ashley Morgan (Magnatear): "We got across and got control. Gave a good kick. Plain the last part."

Zac Lloyd (Scarlet Oak): "She tried. Probably looking for a softer deck and further would help."

Michael Dee (Hooligan Tommy): "Good effort. Just had a bit of a checkered run up the straight. Hit the line nicely."

Rachel King (Mawjood): "Happy enough with his run. I think just maybe the quick back up might have impacted."
