Aquis has added a well-related son of Snitzel to its stallion roster with Prost to take up residence at the Queensland farm later this year.

The former Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained youngster will be the equal-most-expensive stallion on the Aquis roster after having his introductory fee set at $13,200, including GST.

A $650,000 Magic Millions yearling, Prost is by the four-time Australian Champion Stallion and a three-quarter-brother to Golden Slipper winner Shinzo.

He won the Group 3 Canonbury Stakes (1100m) at two and was a winner of the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes (1600m) at three.

"Prost had unbridled speed, Group-placed as a Pre-Christmas two-year-old, he then returned to win a major Golden Slipper lead-up and had the underlining class to win a Group 2 over the Randwick Mile at three," Aquis Director of Sales Jonathan Davies said.

"I strongly encourage breeders to inspect Prost, his race record and pedigree are impressive and fully transparent, but it's the exceptional quality and type that separates Prost from others in his price range".

Joining Prost as a $13,200 stallion at Aquis is I Am Invincible's son Kobayashi, who has had a slight haircut from his 2024 fee of $15,000.

The fee for Jonker, a son of Spirit Of Boom, remains unchanged at $12,500, Lean Mean Machine, Officiating and Stronger have had reductions to $8800, while Glenfiddich is now $4400 after standing last year at $5500.
