Masquerade Ball wins Tenno Sho (Autumn)
He was the favourite but as a 3yo he was coming up against the big boys.
However that did not seem to worry him as he went on to win his first G1 Tenno Sho (Autumn) and a third win in Tokyo which must be his favourite track. Lemaire gave him a patient but positive ride to take out his third G1 in as many weeks.
Fellow 3yo Museum Mile took the second spot and Justin Palace returned to something like his best form when coming third.
Lemaire said after the race that Masquerade Ball could head for another G1 before the year ends and that he would be a serious horse to be reckoned with next year.
