Good competitive race here with some stronger light weight hopes in the race. Given those lighter weighted horses here in this race, this feels like it could prove a tough race for top weight SOUNDS UNUSUAL. He has been in good form this prep, but has to handle a big 61kgs as well as deal with the extreme wide barrier. His form stacks up well but looks a risk at the current price as favourite.

Flemington: Race 4; #1 Taken Down Arrow

Taken is very consistent and off his ratings profile, he clearly deserves his place at the top of the market. But I thought he had absolutely everything in favour last start and with the predicted off-rail pattern today, I doubt he gets the same favours.

Ipswich: Race 3; #2 Bestower Down Arrow

Continues to find a few better and I think she may run second again, she is under the odds in an open staying race.

HARNESS

Melton: Race 8; #5 Jilliby Willow Down Arrow

Quality mare but this is a big ask fresh & looks in need of racing.
