Rosehill: Race 3; #2 Highway Strip Down Arrow

Yep, he's got the most ability and if today's the day that he fulfills it, he'll be winning. But he's a big gangly type that does plenty wrong and we're asked to take short odds. The 1100m start at Rosehill isn't ideal for him and from the low draw in a relatively big field, he'll most likely be asked to race in between runners. He's the type of horse that you've got to take on at short odds.

Rosehill: Race 10; #12 Kerguelen Down Arrow

Was keen on the set up for KERGUELEN has last time out, but she doesn't appear to get all the favours in this race as she did last start. Her better form has come on wet tracks previously, so a drying track here might not suit. Outside of that, we are expecting this track to favour those runners who push forwards and race close to the rails, KERGUELEN may have work to do from the wide barrier so this could make her run tough.

Flemington: Race 4; #10 Bold Secret Down Arrow

Over the years, I have kept the lights on by laying first starters who are hard in the market down the Flemington straight against raced horses. Bold Secret has jumped out extremely sharply. Nothing against the horse at all but it is such a big ask to win on debut against more experienced horses.

Eagle Farm: Race 2; #3 Creativity Miss Down Arrow

Has won when first-up in the past however the trainer is out of form having not won since the 1st of Jan.
