Wyong: Race 2; #1 Limburg
Based on everything Limburg has done to date at maiden level, he should go close to a win here, but with this race set up he feels quite short in the market and one to maybe look around. He resumes off a long spell now and with a big weight on his back as well. He could certainly win here, but the big weight off a big spell may leave him vulnerable late.
Mackay: Race 8; #7 Zelezny
He keeps finding his way towards the top of the market, but he hasn't really done anything to warrant that. While he did break his maiden by close to 5L last start at Rockhampton, it was a very weak four-horse field, and something had to win it. I'd be surprised to see him go on with it here.
GREYHOUNDS
Sandown Park: Race 3; #1 Aston Gozo
This is a very handy race and Aston Gozo has come up very short in early markets, likely due to the box draw. But Bebop Jazz, Gold Scotch and Irish Nikki are all more than capable of winning this. Sharni's Secret could be important early, as there's a chance she bumps with Aston Gozo.
HARNESS
Ballarat: Race 6; #4 Etiz Amodel
Honest type but runs best races over sprint trips. Looks a risk tonight.
