I have been wrong before but this looks a horror set-up for Light Infantry Man to produce anywhere near his best. Now sixth-up for the preparation and going to 2400m for the first time off two sapping runs in the Cox Plate and Champions Stakes.

Doomben: Race 1; #8 Creativity Miss Down Arrow

Expect is reaching peak fitness fourth up however I thought has had an opportunity to go better than what she has this prep. This is a strong Brisbane class 1 for a Saturday with several horses from NSW travelling to compete.

Doomben: Race 4; #6 Space Tracker Down Arrow

From gate one and after a 49 day break since the last start I am happy to risk him in this.

Doomben: Race 10; #19 Bossed Up Down Arrow

I can't get him as short as the current market as he is yet to win from two attempts at Doomben and I think he is better suited at Eagle Farm.

HARNESS

Albion Park: Race 5; #7 Windy Hill Tara Down Arrow

Want to take on WINDY HILL TARA based on the draw alone. She yielded ground last start despite the perfect trip in run.

GREYHOUNDS

Sandown Park: Race 7; #5 Zipper On Time Down Arrow

Zipper On Time failed to get the job done from Box 1 and a friendly map in a heat of the Melbourne Cup. This Cup Night Sprint is no easier and she now moves to Box 5. Paw Oswald and Sharapova Star map well for economical runs here. I also haven't liked the way Zipper On Time has been running into the catching pen at the end of the race, so she could be timid in the closing stages of the race as the pen approaches.

Sandown Park: Race 10; #1 Valenzuela Down Arrow

Very difficult Cup final from a betting point of view. Valenzuela achieved his optimum pattern in his heat when greyhounds to his outside missed the start and he was able to get to the crown of the track easily. There will be a lot more pressure here and box 1 may not necessarily suit so happy to be against but for just the one unit.
