Then he was given a break and was super at Ballarat over 390m when winning easily. But again didn't give me the impression he was looking for 525m.

LAY: 7. Zap Devere (WIN) for 2 units (Rated at $4.40) Zap Devere has ran last in his last three starts and appears to be racing without confidence. Hector Darcy, Yaya Sally and Bun Quake are all likely to outpace him early so Box 7 looks no help either.
