Randwick: Race 5; #8 Axius Down Arrow

AXIUS comes into the race as the current race favourite, but feel he may be vulnerable here 1st up off a long spell. While he showed clear talent in that debut prep, the spaced out trials he has had since November suggests that he may have had issues hence the extended break. This appears as if it will be a high pressure race and with fitter horses in the field, it may have AXIUS vulnerable late and expecting he has improvement to come off this so happy to risk him in this.

Doomben: Race 8; #8 Paro Down Arrow

I am against this runner coming from synthetic track to turf, the overall figures produced to date are poor and I am doubtful would be able to beat the topweight home here who has much stronger overall figures.

GREYHOUNDS

The Meadows: Race 9; #2 Only Easy Down Arrow

Only Easy has ran last in three of his last four starts and has been raced sparingly in that time. Thought his run at Bendigo was just fair and even though it was a red hot race, the run didn't scream back me next time. I am happy to Lay.

HARNESS

Bendigo: Race 1; #4 Fuego Cruzado Down Arrow

Honest type but can't see him leading here & this looks a lot harder than last run when found the top. Looks a risk.
