Good competitive race, Speedy Target sets up as the current race favourite, but feel as if he will have to deal with a tricky set up here today. Drawn the extreme outside barrier, he has an awkward position to overcome and on top of that has previously been better suited to a dryer track so in these conditions I am against the set up.

Geelong: Race 5; #14 Star Angel Down Arrow

Star Angel ran a great race first-up but drawn out in the car park, there is every chance she is snagged back to near last and will be forced to loop the field.

Rockhampton: Race 4; #1 Our Turn Now Down Arrow

This is a wide-open race, so I'm happy to be against the favourite who has to lug 61kg even after the 3kg claim. He's been up a while this prep, and has travelled right up the Queensland east coast in his last couple, so today could be the day he comes to the end of it.
