Battle Crying Out For Debut Win
Former Australian galloper BATTLE CRY appears on target of breaking his Malaysian duck in the 1200m Class 4A contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Battle Cry was heavily supported for his local debut here on November 8 and showed blistering speed to lead from barrier ten. The four year old was eventually overhauled to finish 2nd over 1300m, beaten 2.25 lengths after displaying the tendency to over race soon after the start was effected.
BATTLE CRY arrived in the country with one win from eight starts, a maiden victory recorded in Sale, Victoria back in July last year. From the better draw and the slightly shorter trip, a forward showing is expected from the Jason Lim runner.
