‘She’s 4lb lower than when scoring at Goodwood last season’ - Sam King’s daily wagers

Rhythmic Acclaim hasn't been in the winners' enclosure since completing a hat-trick at Goodwood this time last year, but she looks ready to strike now following an eye-catching effort last start.

A dual winner over this afternoon's six-furlong course at Yarmouth, Rhythmic Acclaim found herself repeatedly short of room when refitted with blinkers last time, finishing full of running back in fifth off a 1lb higher mark.

The daughter of Acclamation is now 4lb lower than when scoring at Goodwood last season, while the form of her second-place finish behind the Michael Bell-trained Dorney Lake, who since scored off 6lb higher, looks solid for this level.

Drawn in stall eight, she should have things run to suit under Charlie Bennett and they can land the spoils this afternoon (3.45).

1pt Win – Rhythmic Acclaim

Odds – 11/4

Over at Kempton, there could still be more to come from the unexposed Persian Spirit, who is taken to double her career tally in the six-furlong Class 4 handicap at 7.40.

The Richard Hannon-trained three-year-old showed useful from at two, winning on debut at odds of 20/1 at Newbury before finishing a respectable fourth of six in a heavy-ground conditions race at Salisbury second up.

A winner over this evening's course and distance on her three-year-old reappearance, Persian Spirit went on to finish a good fourth behind a progressive previous winner at Haydock earlier in the month.

Back on the all-weather at Kempton this evening from a good draw in stall four, Richard Hannon's filly could take some pegging back racing off just 2lb higher than when a gritty scorer here two starts ago.

1pt Win – Persian Spirit.

Odds – 10/3
