Best Bets
RACE 3 – (8) UPWARDLY MOBILE: Has been building for a Highway win and this is her chance after three solid efforts in C3 company in the city since she won a C2 at Scone in August. She's taken on deeper fields over 1500m and 1600m at her last two starts at Rosehill and Randwick where she has found the line late from awkward positions on the turn. Hard to hold out with clear running on this spacious course.
RACE 5 – (8) ROTAGILLA: Rapid improver for leading stable. Should have won when resuming over 1400m at Warwick Farm but made amends with a dominant BM78 win over 1500m at Randwick on November 1 beating Strawberry Impact. More depth in this field but he won at this course last season and this is the right race for him to continue his upward spiral.
RACE 8 – (14) YORKSHIRE: Stable is showing plenty of confidence in this classy gelding's ability to win this million dollar contest first-up of a 273-day break. Gets the weights in his favour and he's been well prepared through two excellent trials that have him primed to carry on from his last prep when he was beaten a nose first-up (by Accredited) before reeling off three impressive wins. Set for a big summer.

TRIAL POINTERS
RANDWICK November 7: Classy performer YORKSHIRE is ready to go first-up after backing up his excellent trial at Randwick on October 20 with an impressive win in the fastest 1045m heat (62.08; 34.05), rounding up the leader with sharp work over the last 200m. We know he has abundant talent and could really rise to a new level over the summer.
ROSEHILL November 5: Classy 4YO ANGEL CAPITAL trucked through his 900m trial in great style, showing he is the right form to take on another G1 assignment before the end of the spring. He settled third behind the leaders with Zac Lloyd having to keep him under a big hold as he was eager to run in his 900m heat (54.97; 34.79). Nothing flash about the time but the manner of his work over the last 100m when he was never let go has him cherry ripe to make up for his luckless G1 efforts at his last two starts. Racy Zoustar filly PYROLISIS was placed twice in June and July and should have no trouble picking up a maiden win after another sharp trial win. She won a Rosehill trial on October 24 and backed it up winning the fastest 1030m heat (61.12; 34.27) by more than three lengths, spearing clear over the last 200m with sharp acceleration. There were two 2YO heats with the Russian Revolution colt SEEIAYE improving on his debut second in a Rosehill trial to record a strong win his 900m heat (54.,39; 34.89). The other 2YO heat was won in slow time by TENENBAUM (55.58; 33.10), sprinting home to repeat his debut win in a Hawkesbury trial on October 21.
WARWICK FARM October 31: Smart maiden heat winners included CAPDIVA (815m 47.65; 33.71); YOU SEXY THING (812m 48.16; 33.92); and CURADO (812m 48.10; 34.09). Group performer ROBUSTO was given a good hitout to win his 1207m heat (73.21; 34.98).
NEWCASTLE October 28: BEAUTY CHARGE was under a barrier embargo from Randwick on October 18. The former Hong Kong sprinter did everything right to cruise to an easy win in his 1000m heat (61.74; 33.61). He settled kindly outside the leader and was always under restraint as he worked strongly to the line to score by a soft 1.6 lengths.
ROSEHILL October 24: A strong open heat over 1030m (62.32; 34.88) saw the late effort by JUST PARTY take the eye. XIDAKI and APEX were others to perform with credit in the open heats. The 900m maiden heat winners LONTRICE (54.73; 34.97) and PYROLYSIS (53.73; 33.88) look primed for good showings.
RANDWICK October 20: YORKSHIRE made his return with easy work in the fastest open heat overt 742m won by the smart filly TOMATO TOASTIE (43.83; 33.07). The Snitzel 5YO has won six of his eight starts and is set for a successful summer campaign.
WARWICK FARM August 8: Sharp debut trial by North Pacific colt CURADO, showing good natural speed to control his 779m heat from start to finish (47.51; 34.71). Held a good margin to the line with plenty in reserve.
RANDWICK July 11: There were numerous good trials in the 2YO heats including the winner DARING FELLOW.
