Winning Trainer: Kelly Schweida

"I said to the owners before the race that if we could finish in the top four, I'd be happy. He hadn't run for ten months, so he's done a really good job. I'm really pleased for the owners and for Cejay, I'm sure she'll be over the moon."

Good gate speed: "Yes he pinged out of the gates, and she wanted to get off the fence so she rode him well. Metalart ran super to finish third too, so it was a great result all round."

Big following: "He's got a good name and he's also a good-looking horse, much like his trainer!"

Winning Jockey: Cejay Graham

"It's such a thrill for me to win a stakes race on this horse. I couldn't be more rapt, he's one of the horses that started things off for me when I first moved here. So to get back on him was a great thrill. I have to take trackwork bragging rights, there aren't many horses I ride in the mornings all the way through their preps. He's had a faultless campaign leading into this race here today, and the good gate enabled us to have that sweet run in behind. I must admit, when I pushed the button I was worried I may have gone too soon. He was so electric, and I knew he was tough and he's only got more improvement to come because I probably spoil him a fraction."
