Tomodachi Kokoroe gets lots more tomodachi

From "being around" to "being there" is a step a champion needs to make.

He didn't exactly shine at the Class 2 level last year but this year David Hayes has asked him to step up and Tomodachi Kokoroe responded, winning the Premier Bowl over 1200m in a time only bettered by Ka Ying Rising.  Hayes has now two top sprinters in his stable and they are en route to clash in the International Sprint.  "Tomodachi" is Japanese for friend hence the headline as he becomes very popular with the public.  Raging Blizzard was second and Packing Hermod third.

Earlier Pierre Ng had placed apprentice Britney Wong on his Brazilian import Sagacious Life and they won the Panasonic Cup having started at 33/1.  It was a rae for the roughies with Steps Ahead 5/1 the only finisher in sincle figures as third home the Stunning Peach was on 17/1.
