The Champions Cup at Chukyo

Poor Wilson Tesoro nearly did it but had to settle for second for the third year running.

The cheeky W Heart Bond got a first G1 and jockey Sakai his third Champions Cup in consecutive years. This was the first win by a filly in over 10 years

Ramjet was able to detach himself from the pack and make a charge for the line but couldn't get past the first two.  Favourite Nanukami was disappointing finishing back in the field but he's had a busy year and will have more chances in future.
