On the mare: "I didn't have any confidence coming in today off a little bit of a setback, and she was great. Jason's riding great, a great team of owners. I'm very, very lucky to train a great mare like her. So, a great day.
On where to next: "We've got a few old sparring partners down from Melbourne, and we wouldn't mind taking them on the Champions Mile, and so we'll just see how she comes through. It's just good to see her back, and I thought if we didn't have the setback, I thought the King Charles last week was the ideal race for her. I still back myself - and go to Melbourne - and think she'll be doing very well there."
On current form: "I can't win a race during this carnival. I've had 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, so it's a big relief. You need your big horse to step up, and I'm very lucky. I've had Overpass run a gallant fourth last week and Steffi. I'm not going to get as emotional; it's great for business getting emotional, but very special.
"We won't back up; maybe we'll go to the Champions Mile and take on a couple of our old sparring partners, nothing like good competition. We love a good competition."
Winning Jockey: Jason Collett
On the run: "That was sweet like we were a bit of a worry about fitness coming into it off the setback she had, but that was great. She's just electric when you get her back and let that tempo unfold in front. Just letting her just get into that rhythm is so important too. Yeah, the pressure was fantastic, really. That suited. I was overdoing it there, actually, when Manal popped out I had to come back and half checked, but when she unleashes like that she's a weapon."
On the win: "She was like the Doncaster, I was able to stack up from behind off a moderate tempo, and probably the same as the Stradbroke where she'd come underneath me and unleashed."
