Winning Trainer: Chris Waller

On best riding tactics: "Things didn't really work out in the Australian Guineas, like today, he's had bad draws and it just makes it harder. I think his best win was when we rode him quiet. But today, short price favourite, we've got three weeks into the Doncaster I thought 'oh well we'll try you up again on the speed.' But ideally in the Doncaster we'll ride him more conservatively."

"He's got to go to a new level in the Doncaster, he's very well weighted."

On who will ride in the Doncaster: "Someone light. It won't be James (McDonald). James will be on hopefully one of the other stablemates. I think we've got Rachel King in the loop, she won a Group race on him here at Rosehill. She's actually booked to ride."

Winning Jockey: James McDonald

On best riding tactics: "He would be a lot better off (being a bit further back in the run). But obviously he's a classy horse, he's just come on leaps and bounds from each run he's had and he's a gorgeous colt to boot. Ridden a bit quieter you'd really see a lethal performance. Obviously it was a bit tradesmenlike today but there's room to improve."

On his chances in the Doncaster: "I think he's got a very light weight which is ideal for him. If he's ridden three or four pairs back in a Doncaster on nice ground he would come out and run extremely well. Ideally I think his best trip is six furlongs to 1400m and he's just getting that mile on ability at the moment."

On the run: "He travelled really comfortably. He's just so honest, you can't teach that. He's got a heart of a lion. "

Beaten Jockeys:

Nash Rawiller (Shangri La Boy): "Just got outsprinted a little bit. Travelled well. Gave a nice kick on the turn. Sixties put us away pretty quickly. He's looking to get to 2000m."

Jason Collett (West Of Swindon): "Disappointing. Had a good run. Wasn't able to capitalise."

Jay Ford (Matias): "Really good. He'll improve off that."

Zac Lloyd (Cellarmaster): "Very happy with him. A big step up in class and ran well. He's a prep away still. A bit immature mentally. That will do him a world of good."

Craig Williams (Top Reward): "His first run up in Sydney so he'll benefit from that. He's a nice horse but I just don't think he's quite ready against these horses quite yet. Still a nice horse regardless."

Ashley Morgan (Kilbrannan): "He's a nice sort of horse but needs to relax. Didn't give himself a chance to do that today."

Dylan Gibbons (Federalist): "He has gone fantastic. Love to ride him in a maiden. But he's running well against the best."

Mathew Cahill (Tom Vegas): "Even sort of run. A big rise in class from his last run."

Tommy Berry (Panova): "Really proud of her. Had to give away a start from the barrier today which was always going to be the case. She is the horse that has Vinery written all over her for a long time. Everyone will be pretty pleased with how she has gone."

Kerrin McEvoy (Soverato): "Really nice run. Lightly race filly with a nice bit talent. Goes out in trip next time."
