Winning Trainer: Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman

Partnership with Luke Nolen: "We're nearing on a couple thousand winners together or something like that, so a pretty successful combination that's worked over a period of time."

On the win: "She laid the foundation of Caulfield with a very good effort in a strong race behind two very good colts, out to a more suitable 1400 (metres) she looked well placed."

"Well done to connections, Freddie Noffke, the owner, and the handsome team up in Rockhampton that had this filly through her early days."

"She's gone through Townsville and Rockhampton and places like that, and to see her come here and perform on Derby Day on the biggest stage, congratulations to all involved, and Katherine and my team, we've had her down here for a good few months now, and she's done nothing but please us, so a well deserved victory today.

"We thought we were coming in with a lean carnival but we were fortunate enough to win the Guineas a few weeks back and to come up with a nice filly like this, and she'll probably go to Caulfield in a couple of weeks and take the boys on again.

"Off the back of that, you'd think she will be very competitive again. We're a bit light in numbers but hopefully they're in the right slots."

Winning Jockey: Luke Nolen

On the win: "She's been a welcome addition to the stable, and she's owned by some beautiful people too, so no doubt they'll have a nice drink to celebrate this one."

Showed great acceleration: "She did. She's got a devastating turn of foot, and he just wanted me to ride her in. a comfortable spot, Peter, and it just meant we were going to need a little bit of luck but she traveled well and she finished well.

"I think she's in the right spot for races going forward. The blinkers on gave her a chance to settle better and then every time I asked her to poke into a pocket for me, she did. Gained a narrow split and she's got a lot of bulldog about her.

You don't mind being in the trenches with those sort or horses."

One ride for the day: "I've got Oasis tickets tonight with a very good friend, so we'll go and enjoy that, then Mornington tomorrow."
