"That was quite a surprise, actually. She actually hasn't been for a spell. We've just been plagued with bad tracks and barriers. The owners are nice and and patient so we kept her ticking over.

"This looked like the right race. I was a little bit worried about the draw. She is normally quite stirred up before her races and the track but she was very relaxed tonight and that even showed when the gates opened.

"She was slow away and midrace I thought 'gee I hope she finds the line well'. Really delighted with the way she picked them up so quick.

"There is plenty of upside there. She can be quite hot and difficult to train so tonight she showed a new Remlaps Angel."

Winning Jockey: Robbie Dolan

Surprised: "A little bit. But when I rode her I thought she would do that (get stirred) but she had probably come to the end of her preparation, so I knew she had it in there and isn't he a great trainer.

"She can be a bit busy and do things wrong but she was just brilliant today and she blew them away."
