RACE 1 - 1:45PM Sportsbet More Places Maiden Plate (2200 METRES)

Suit Of Wands is an improving horse who jumps from 1600m to 2200m. He ran well when beaten 1.09 lengths in 2nd behind Belle From Hell at Murray Bridge last time and finds a winnable race.
CRACKEN GOOD TIME has been placed at three of his past five and was beaten 3.57 lengths in 4th behind Grinzinger Halo here last time. EMPRESS OF SOUL comes through the same race beaten 4.7 lengths, and she is another who should appreciate getting up in trip. FLAMING EYES has been just behind the placings at her past couple, the latest behind Strazz at Bordertown. RHINESTONE RORY is a 27-start maiden but OK last time when beaten 5.02 lengths in 4th behind Johnny Cigar at Naracoorte. GRINZINGER JOY was OK last time running 4th beaten 4.58 lengths behind Oh Lovely No.

RACE 2 - 2:20PM Taylors Wines Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

So Polite draws the middle and led on a solid tempo when first-up from a spell beaten 2.76 lengths behind Mating Call here on Sep 10. She should give a sight up near the lead again. COMMON INTEREST is on debut for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable and won a Parks jump-out back on Jun 12, and also a recent Murray Bridge jump-out. He draws the inside gate. I AM RALPH resumes and was placed behind Cicala before a break; he trialled up OK at Bordertown recently. GOLDEN TUNES is another speedy type who led and was only just reeled in late by Zoular at Naracoorte on Aug 31 and then led again when beaten 3.55 lengths behind Captialex at Murray Bridge last week. SIMPLY SID was $71-$21 when beaten 1.96 lengths behind Dapper Don at Morphettville and then beaten 8.33 lengths behind an impressive Mating Call here last time. MSTER CHARLIE was good beaten 2.52 lengths in 3rd behind More Than Hope at Murray Bridge on Aug 13, stablemate MERCHANT OF GREECE was on speed when beaten 1.42 lengths behind Call Me Eddy at Bordertown last time and draws wide. PALACE INVITE is on debut for Byron Cozamanis and won a recent Parks jump-out.

RACE 3 - 2:55PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Maiden Plate (1400 METRES)

Safe Bet has been placed at three of four runs and was 3rd behind Round Two at Gawler before a good effort here, beaten 1.21 lengths behind the talented Mating Call. He has the inside gate, gets a 3kg claim and should be in this for a long way. OAKLEY MISS comes off a good effort here when she came from the back and just peaked on her run late, beaten 1.51 lengths behind Kalmana. FREEDOM FLAME was good in the same race, beaten 2.46 lengths in 4th, and is on the improve. Her stablemate SASSY SOPHIE was good here, beaten 1.5 lengths in 2nd behind Grinzinger Halo, and draws a nice gate. GOLDFIELDS GREY was good on debut when beaten 4.11 lengths behind Mondello here.
RAMBLING is a high-priced yearling who has been OK in a couple of SA runs but needs to improve again. TEAR APART is first-up here for the Theodore stable and won a recent Gawler jump-out over 600m. PAGANINI finished off well beaten, 2.72 lengths behind Dapper Don at Morphettville last time.

RACE 4 - 3:30PM BMD Class One Handicap (1600 METRES)

Pacific Cross is a former Victorian first-up in SA for the Bain/Taylor stable. She was placed at Sandown twice and Moonee Valley last time in, and has a couple of trials under her belt. Her fresh record is good and she should go well. TITAN RISING was a soft winner over 1719m at Gawler two runs back in maiden grade and then beaten 5.1 lengths behind Burning Bright, who has won again since, on the Parks. LOCA BELLA has been placed at her past three, the latest beaten 3.89 lengths behind Anthracite at Morphettville, that's good form for a race like this. PETIT EAGLE has been around the mark and beaten 0.39 lengths in 3rd behind Strazz at Bordertown.

PLAY: Keen on PACIFIC CROSS but is short enough early at $1.70.

RACE 5 - 4:05PM BTR Excavations Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600 METRES)

Super Lad was solid in the market and led as a 1.79 length winner over MONSEAGLE here last time. He draws the right gate to give this a shake. SAVATOFF won on the Parks on Aug 6 and then at Strathalbyn two weeks later in a BM56, his latest was OK, beaten 3.26 lengths behind Warparty and should be in the mix here. THINKINGNINETYNINE also came through that race beaten 3.77 lengths and was placed at Ballarat on the synthetic prior. BACK ME UP BENNY comes off a return to form winning in a 0-56 at Bordertown over 1300m. He does race well here and must be respected

RACE 6 - 4:40PM TQCSI Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1050 METRES)

Sir Leapalot was placed on the Parks two runs back behind Suzido before he was easy in the market beaten 1.68 lengths in 5th behind Madam Jeanette there last time. He draws out, but does look close to winning in this sort of grade, and gets his chance. OUTPOST was heavily backed here first-up for the Travis Doudle stable when beaten 0.66 lengths in 2nd behind BROADWAY LANE, who led throughout for a good win, and draws a nice barrier again. ASTROMANCER was in good form before a break, running 2nd here twice before she led and was beaten 6.21 lengths in 7th behind Nicish back on Jun 28. CATALINA BLUE made good ground here, beaten 3.62 lengths in 4th behind One Kind.

RACE 7 - 5:15PM Coopers Brewery Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1400 METRES)

Hamner Springs went to Edenhope to win his maiden in March and resumed with a handy effort, beaten 4.12 lengths in 7th behind Shadow Eagle at Morphettville. He draws the middle and should take beating. KRISTOBEL resumes and has a win and a 2nd in two runs here. She won a recent Murray Bridge trial and draws a good gate to give this a shake fresh. EXONUMIA was placed at Mildura two runs back behind The Wizard King and then beaten 7.34 lengths in `13th behind Shisuta Bo. TESTA DEXTA has been placed at his past four starts, the latest at Bordertown behind Back Me Up Benny. DERBY DOWNS has a good record here and can improve on last time when well beaten behind Broadway Lane. GRANDELLIE was a Gawler winner two starts back.
