PAKENHAM: RACE 6

PRAY DAY (7) looks primed for this third up. He's just found one better in two runs back, beaten a head last start at Caulfield Heath over 1800m in a strong showing. Back slightly in trip here but that won't be an issue with his sole win to date coming over the mile. He'll kick up from the inside gate and take plenty of catching.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 4

VIVALDA (14) was sharply better second-up, beaten 1.5L over 1200m at Scarpside. Has more to give and just missed here only third-up outing. Has the inside gate and gives every indication that the 1400m will suit.

MACKAY: RACE 6

SCRUB CHAIN (4) impressed last time when he scored by a head over today's journey at this track. Spiked his numbers and also has plenty of weight relief. Peaks and is expected to measure right up again.

GOSFORD: RACE 6

JUST RESPONSE (6) talented gelding ready to go to the next level this campaign. Sat on the strong tempo with a fighting second to Three Arrows over 1300m at Hawkesbury last November. Has looked very good in both trial victories over the 1000m. Regular rider sticks and can get the job done.

DARWIN: RACE 4

ECCLESTONE (1) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 1100m at this track. Had switched from Queensland's premier yard and is still shy of his best. Keeps Todd, and he should have these well covered.
