Winning Trainer: Kelly Schweida

Consistent performer: "Especially when he gets on a nice track. I was a bit concerned when he was back like that and I thought we'd need a bit of luck here getting tight down the running but he persevered and got the run. He was strong late.

"I was really worried about the weight. Michael (Rodd) normally rides him and he does a good job. He's got a good record here, so he's a good little boy.

"He's like a kids pony. You could tie him up to the float and come back a week later and he'd be standing there. Very unassuming, nice horse, good owners."

Winning Jockey: Cody Collis

"I was probably a bit further back than I anticipated but there was a bit of carnage in front of me which probably helped me coning into the corner and it just opened up on the outside and he was able to take that run comfortably and he hit the line strongly..

"Getting back on top of the ground today helped him a lot."
