Fantastic win: "It's fantastic. There is a big team of owners here today."
Good run against the boys last start: "She was impressive last start. She has been going really well this prep and we came here quietly confident that she would put in a good effort today."
Made trip across: "She made the trip across on Friday morning. It was a bit of a journey for her but she settled in beautifully and was a pleasure to deal with today."
Zac Spain being on her throughout campaign: "Zac knows her really well. He rolled forward, let her settle in a lovely position and left her motoring along."
On being a staying test: "She's a tough filly and towards the end she really put the effort in. She's only small but she's got a big stride and a big heart."
Winning Jockey: Zac Spain
Won a Good on Lombardo: "It brings back good memories. Racing SA put out a post and gets the fire in the belly wanting to ride these good horses and it's unfortunate I don't have a ride in the race this year."
Good to get this filly a Black Type win for the filly: "Danny and the team have done a fantastic job with her. She can be a bit flighty and hot-headed, but I spoke to Danny this morning and he said, the same at her last two starts, get her into a rhythm, not really fussed where she is, as long as she's happy. She can get a little keen when she doesn't get covered up, but when I got outside the leader, she switched off really well throughout. She always gets the wobbles around the corner, but that is because she's still so new, but once she balanced up, she showed a good turn of foot like she has at her past couple and it's good to get that Stakes winner for the team."
Had to be tough in the last furlong: "She's as tough as nails, the little thing. There's not much of her, but she shows good determination, which is good. In the St Leger, I got into a bit of a bumping duel, but she still finished off really strong, and back to the 2500 (metres) she was as fit as a fiddle and I was happy to push the button a bit early on her. She was brave."
