RACE 1 - 12:55PM Magain Fielke Real Estate Gawler Fillies & Mares Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
First Feeling is a former NSW galloper from the Snowden stable who was a $200k yearling and is first-up for Richard and Chantelle Jolly. She was in the market at her only start at Muswellbrook in May 2024. She was well beaten behind Noetzie in a recent Murray Bridge trial. XAIAMBI debuts for Ros Day and was 2nd in a recent Strathalbyn trial behind Cicala and draws the middle. MANDARIN is on debut for the Hickmott/Riggs stable and was runner-up in a Murray Bridge trial on May 1 and draws a middle gate. NOT TO BE TRUSTED was just behind the placegetters when beaten 3.4 lengths by Quanah at Gawler last July but was well beaten first-up from a long break at Murray Bridge on May 14.

Mister Hockey was beaten 0.98 lengths in 3rd behind Pamiers at Oakbank back in April and then was a month between runs when he finished 3 lengths 3rd So You Will at Werribee last time. He draws the inside. MAGIC MARINER was OK first-up from a spell beaten 3.38 lengths behind Tropical House at Balaklava and followed up with a good effort beaten 1.3 lengths behind Kersee at Murray Bridge last time. MOUSSAKA comes through the same raced and was beaten 3.25 lengths. SANTELLA is on debut for Grant Young and was close-up running 2nd in a recent Strathalbyn trial. He wears blinkers on debut. SOCIAL STORM was a $101 chance when beaten 8.48 lengths behind The Sprinkler at Murray Bridge last time but draws a nice gate to improve.

WILD WILD WEST is on debut for Richard and Chantelle Jolly and was a $100k yearling. He won a Balaklava trial in April and has been placed at his past couple. He wears winkers from a good gate. Will Clarken and Niki O'Shea have CICALA on debut who won a recent Strathalbyn trial by 2.4 lengths and must be kept safe. STARCHO LIBRE debuts for the Justin Pickering stable and has been 2nd in two trials, the most recent at Strathalbyn behind Go Go Dolly. Matt Seyers has NADEGE on debut who race third in that trial while stablemate PRETTY MORSEL was placed at Oakbank in April and draws out. I AM RALPH was better last time when beaten 2.05 lengths behind Kersee at Murray Bridge and comes back further in trip. DARLINC is the most experienced of the field but would need to lift.

Ali Foreman was placed at Balaklava behind Tropical House before another good run beaten 2.17 lengths behind The Sprinkler at Murray Bridge. GARCON RENARD was beaten 4.29 lengths in the same race and draws a nice barrier. GEETEE FORTY has been placed at two of his three starts in Australia, the latest beaten 2.55 lengths behind I'm Permissible at Murray Bridge. CLASSY CLARET was beaten 2.7 lengths in 4th in that race and was runner-up at Balaklava prior. SOMEWHERE SOON was beaten 2.76 lengths in 4th behind Pamiers at Oakbank and then beaten 7.6 lengths behind The Sprinkler last time at Murray Bridge. VILLA MARIA has been around the mark placed at Balaklava three starts back and was beaten 3.28 lengths behind Kersee at Murray Bridge last time. ORIENTAL DANE was an $81 chance beaten 2.88 lengths in the same race. UNPRAISED was $26-$13 on debut at Murray Bridge when beaten 10.76 lengths behind Warm Breeze. AMBLESIDE was beaten 13.1 lengths on debut last July but was OK beaten 3.98 lengths in a Strathalbyn trial.

DAISY DOO was a Balaklava winner before a good effort when beaten 2.36 lengths behind The Plastics at Strathalbyn last time. She draws the inside. LOCA BELLA won a Balaklava maiden back in November and was good in two subsequent runs and then spelled. She was 2nd in a recent Strathalbyn trial and should go well. PLACO is a European import who was a Longford winner in November 2023 before coming to Australia. He had two jumps outs and a trial for Ciaron Maher before he was purchased for $1500 and was 2nd in a recent Strathalbyn trial. EASTSIDE DIAMOND was beaten 1.67 lengths in 2nd behind Sundogg at Oakbank before being beaten 4.23 lengths behind Fast Bubbles at Balaklava last time.

KING MOYA was a Strathalbyn winner four runs back and placed at Balaklava on Apr 25 and was good last time up in class behind Merchant Boss. TRANTORO has been successful on a soft track and was runner-up behind Pure Bliss at Murray Bridge earlier this preparation and can improve here. ASTRODEAN was OK last time when beaten 1.83 lengths behind Pulambi at Murray Bridge.

MAIL ORDER was a Bendigo winner in February and has been placed on a heavy track, he was OK behind Tosen Water on the Parks first-up in SA and should run well. I'M KENNY was a Port Augusta winner before being sent out a $2.80 fav there last time when 4th behind Doctor Robert. PUNCHIN was a good Bordertown winner before running 2nd behind Collated when he made good ground. FLYWAY is a dual winner here and worked through the line well beaten 4.64 lengths behind Collated at Murray Bridge last time. He draws out but will be in the mix. SIR LORD is a former Victorian first-up in SA for Luke O'Connor and was 2nd beaten 3.76 lengths in a Strathalbyn trial behind Shakespeare.
