RACE 1 - 11:47AM SkyCity Handicap (1800 METRES)
Savsonic comes off an impressive return at Penola in a BM68 on a soft track when she raced past rivals to score a 3.63 length win. She draws out but gets Jamie Melham and looks perfectly placed here. NAVY GOLD won consecutive races earlier this campaign and was good here again last week when 2nd behind Fine Future this track and trip, THE GOLDEN FIST was beaten 2.94 lengths in the same race and was good late. GHETTO SUPASTAR has two wins and two placings from four starts here and worked home OK last time at Flemington when beaten 3.57 lengths behind No Fuss. He draws a good gate. UNDER THE CONE was a Balaklava winner two runs back and then made good late ground behind Annihilate last week. The jump to 1800m suits. RACE 2 - 12:22PM Carbine Club of South Australia Inc. Handicap (1050 METRES)
Immortal Bliss was good beaten 3.01 lengths in 5th behind Reserve Bank in the Listed Redelva and then 7.09 lengths behind that horse in the G2 Tobin Bronze last time. SIR NOW was a good winner on the Parks before he was caught a little wide and beaten 1.24 lengths in 5th behind Up The Den at Oakbank. He gets blinkers again from the inside. LA NARRADORA won a maiden at Dunkel in November and coms off a 7 length Terang trial win with the blinkers coming off here. She's been $26-$15 early. TRIPOD TERROR won a Port Lincoln maiden in March and was good in two subsequent runs chasing home Shady Thinker in the Murray Bridge MM 3&4YO feature before running 2nd behind Ad Astra on the Parks. He draws a nice gate. OUT OF SQUARE won two in succession before she was beaten 6.73 lengths behind Reserve Bank in the Redelva. She gets blinkers from a wide gate. BLEAK MID WINTER went to Clare first-up from a spell and was a 2.39 length winner over Uki Rain. Stablemate DAPPER DON was beaten 0.63 lengths at Oakbank on the same day behind Pamiers and must be respected. SAV ON ICE resumes and is a horse with a boom, he was good on debut behind Sabaj and then broke his maiden here last time out beating Ginger Sinner. AQUAHOLIC is a former Queenslander first-up for the Richard Wilson stable and is a last-start Sunshine Coast winner as a $2.25 favourite. DAISYDOO was on speed when a 2.19 length Balaklava winner over Extremely Wicked. MADAME JEANETTE was good at Oakbank when 2nd behind Up The Den before being well beaten behind Reserve Bank in the G2 Tobin Bronze. DREAMS FULFILLED was a winner here back in November beating Dyer and wasn't far away when beaten 2.98 lengths behind Up The Den at Oakbank first-up. PRNCETHRULIFE comes off a Murray Bridge win beating Murph and draws the middle. Brave Design was 2nd in the Listed Talindert behind Tentyris before he was beaten 2 lengths behind subsequent G1 winner Vinrock in the G2 VRC Sires' at Flemington on Mar. He has jumped out since and looks well placed. STEEL TRAP stuck on very well when 2nd behind Legacy Bound here in the G3 Breeder's Stakes last time and should give this a big shake. SALTY PEARL was specked from $26-$17 first-up when beaten 0.46 lengths in 2nd behind Killiana in the VOBIS Gold Rush at Bendigo last time. She draws a nice gate. MILLENNIUM BLADE is on debut for the Price/Kent Jnr stable and has had five jump-outs winning his latest at Cranbourne. He draws a good gate. SHOCAP debuts for the Stokes stable and has had five jump-outs at Pakenham and draws a good gate. She's A Hustler has never finished out of the top two with four wins from six starts. She beat Lavalier at Sandown last time out and has jumped-out well since. SEEKING STARDOM is a talented local who was runner-up behind Spirit Of Camelot two runs back and then just missed at big odds beaten 0.27 lengths Zloties in the G2 Queen Of The South last time. PRIVATE LEGACY was 2nd in last year's Australasian Oaks and worked home OK beaten 4.24 lengths in the Zloties race last time. VERY SEWREEL was 2nd in last year's Tasmanian Oaks and was 2nd behind Sirius Statement at Mornington last time. DASHING DUCHESS has form around some good horses, running 5th in the JRA Plate behind Duke De Sessa back in Feb and draws the inside. Litzdeel comes off a good effort at Flemington when beaten 0.25 lengths behind American Wolf and was 3rd behind Statuario at Caulfield over 2400m prior. That's very good form for this. CAVITY BAY was beaten 1.5 lengths in the G1 Australasians Oaks before she backed-up and ran very well beaten 3.35 lengths behind Femminile in last week's G1 SA Derby. She draws a good gate and gets her chance. PELEVECCHIO is another who comes through the Australasian Oaks and was only beaten 2.82 lengths. She gets an inside gate and was $13-$8 early. CHASE YOUR DREAMS comes off a 4.25 length Echuca win over 2100m and drawn to be a major factor. Nonconformist is a classy horse and much like Giga Kick in the Goodwood looks extremely well weighted with the 55kg. He hasn't won for a long time but was 3rd behind Buckeroo in the G2 Chelmsford at Randwick last September and then chased home Fawkner Park in the G3 Rosehill Cup. He won a recent Cranbourne jump-0out and draws a perfect gate. SCHEELITE was a Bendigo winner before she stuck to the task well when 2nd behind Pride Of Jenni in the Listed Anniversary Vase at Caulfield last week. ARRAN BAY comes off a gutsy effort here when he carried 62.5kg and was only nailed late by stablemate REGAL AZMON, who he gets a massive swing in the weights on here meeting his stablemate 8kg better. Likewise, AIR ASSAULT is another who will appreciate a nice drop in weight after sitting on speed with 60kg and beaten 1.39 lengths in the same race. CHICAGO STORM was honest in the same race beaten 1.06 lengths. FINE FUTURE is on the back-up from an impressive win over 1800m here last week and is a horse on the rise. Bridal Waltz was placed in the G3 Red Roses in the spring behind Amelita and was OK behind Alabama Lass first-up before she led throughout to win at Mornington last time. She draws the middle, has Jamie Melham and was $9-$6 early. SCILLATO was 4th in the G3 Typhoon Tracy and has trialled well, her only win coming first-up back in Jan. NEW YORK LUSTRE has won five of eight and was a Moonee Valley winner first-up beating Gitalong as a $2.45 favourite. She draws a nice gate and looks well placed again. LOVELY LOOKIN' is on the back-up from an impressive return last week when she was perfectly ridden to score here over the 1200m beating NURYS who continues to race well. CLEO CAT has won six of her seven starts, her only defeat coming in the Listed Black Pearl at Geelong back in Jan and she jumped-out and trialled well before scoring a soft 2.75 length Warrnambool win first-up. She has plenty of upside. SEE YOU IN HEAVEN strips fitter for her first-up run when beaten 6.25 lengths behind Charm Stone in the G1 Sangster, she draws a good gate. ILLATIVE was well tried first-up from a spell when beaten 1.5 lengths in 2nd behind Tango Jewel at Sandown. She maps well and has been placed at both second-up runs. Stablemate UNCONQUERABLE has a handy record and comes here winning consecutive races at Pakenham. FLYER has been in the money at both runs here winning a feature as a 2yo and get blinkers from the inside. DAKOTA LEE has won 12 of 13 starts, her only failure coming on the tun, she comes off a Pioneer Sprint win at Alice Springs and was placed in a recent Murray Bridge trial. KUROYANAGI comes off a good effort making ground at odds beaten 4.3 lengths behind Reserve Bank in the G2 Tobin Bronze last time. Stablemate BOOGNISH won this race last year and is back in trip and was OK late beaten 2.9 lengths behind Hellsing over the 1600m in the Listed City Of Adelaide last time. RACE 8 - 4:00PM The Sportsbet Goodwood (1200 METRES)
Giga Kick has more than $12m in the bank for very good reason. He's the best credentialed horse in the race having won, and finished 2nd in The Everest, he's won an G1 All Aged Stakes and Doomben 10,000. The knock is the fact he hasn't raced since the G1 VRC Classic at Flemington last November and hasn't won for just shy of two years. He's had three jump-outs to bring him up to the mark and has to overcome a sticky gate. Just five favourites have won this race in the past 35 years. CHARM STONE is a classy mare comes off an impressive first-up win in the G1 Sangster, she has to give the favourite 2kg under the weight scale here but should be better again. Stablemate RESERVE BANK has impressive winning the Listed Redelva over 1100m before he ticked the 1200m box with an impressive win in the G2 Tobin Bronze when perfectly ridden last time. AMEENA was the unlucky runner in the G1 Sangster when she had to weave a passage underneath runners and was beaten 0.37 lengths. GENEROSITY comes off a slashing effort when beaten 0.6 lengths as a $51 chance in the $5m Quokka at Ascot last time and she maps to get a perfect run from the middle. PRAIRIE FLOWER was very good late beaten 1.7 lengths in the Sangster and her form this time around has been excellent, she has the turn of foot to be somewhere in the finish. STRETAN ANGEL was beaten 3.41 lengths in the Sangster last time when she was sent out a $6.50 equal favourite with stablemate CLIMBING STAR who was beaten 5.67 lengths in that race and draws a low gate. VOLCANIC EXPRESS was impressive coming off a hot speed to win the Listed Hills Railway at Oakbank beating SIR SWAY, before he made very good ground towards the inside when 2nd beaten 1.31 lengths behind WATCHME WIN, who draws well, in the G3 Hawkes Stakes last time and has been $101 into $51 early. PRESS DOWN was OK late beaten 2.16 lengths in the same race. SGHIRRIPA is the forgotten horse, he is more than capable, has a great record here and was very good on speed when beaten 0.38 lengths behind Asfoora in G3 Irwin last time, he'll need plenty of luck from the gate.SELECTIONS: 7 GIGA KICK, 11 Generosity, 12 Ameena, 10 Volcanic Express

RACE 9 - 4:35PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1200 METRES)
Ballon D'Or comes off a good run in the Listed Hill Railway beaten 0.97 lengths behind Volcanic Express. She draws wide but will be in the finish. LONRODEX comes through the same race and was only beaten 2.7 lengths, he does have plenty of weight even with the claim. GREAT MAXIMUS was beaten 3.08 lengths in 9th in the same race and was a good winner on the Parks prior. His form last preparation was very good form this. DECLARED comes off a return to winning form when he narrowly defeated Eroica here last week. He's been ultra consistent and can run well again.BEAUTY RISING has won two of her past three, the latest here when a 1.99 length winner over Star Sirius. SACHEM worked home well in the same race beaten 4.2 lengths. METRICAL can run a race here fresh, he's placed at three of four first-up but might need it further. SHARENDIPITY has won her past couple at Balaklava, the latest beating Amelia Valentina and should be in the mix. OVERSTRIKE likes to be on speed and led when beaten 5.84 lengths behind Rubamos at Oakbank last time. GLORY MISSION is an interesting runner having won three and placed three of eight starts and won a recent Devonport trial. BLANC VISAGE comes of a soft Oakbank win and draws a nice gate.
