Randwick-Kensington will play host to New South Wales' major metro meeting on Wednesday with an eight-race card.

The weather is fine, the track rated a Good 4, and the rail is in the true position the entire circuit.

We've run the rule over the entire meeting and offer our best bets below!

RACE 1 - 1:45PM: 2YO COLTS & GELDINGS MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

Roselyn's Star (1) was unfortunate to meet the talented Gatsby's in his debut race.

The John O'Shea-trained Shalaa colt led over 1100m at Canterbury and was only picked off late to finish just under a length second with third a further 2.5 lengths away.

It was an impressive performance and signalled that he was one to follow.

He'll be better for the experience and could prove hard to run down with Nash Rawiller in the saddle.

3 Units – Roselyn's Star (1)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 1

RACE 2 - 2:20PM: 2YO FILLIES MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

This is a tricky maiden for the two-year-old filles with all except one on debut.

Zeitung (13) caught the eye in her most recent trial over 1000m at Hawkesbury.

The James Cummings-trained daughter of Exceed And Excel showed a nice turn of foot when working home strongly under a hold to finish a head second.

She gets the benefit of the inside barrier and will be piloted by Kerrin McEvoy who is riding in super form at the moment.

1 Unit Each Way – Zeitung (13)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 2

RACE 3 - 2:55PM: 3YO MAIDEN PLATE (1400 METRES)

Little Jeanie (9) is a former Kiwi having her first start for Chris Waller.

Prior to arriving at the champion trainer's stable, the daughter of Savabeel finished in the placings at both her starts.

She resumes here and has looked good in two trials where she was given the classic Waller treatment of sitting at the tail before working powerfully to the line under her own steam.

Notably James McDonald has been booked to ride.

2 Units – Little Jeanie (9)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 3

RACE 4 - 3:30PM: MAIDEN PLATE (1100 METRES)

Armed Forces (3) returns a gelding, and it might be the making of him.

Chris Waller has thought highly enough of him throughout his career to test him in multiple black-type races which includes a second placing in the Group 2 Champagne Classic, despite being a maiden.

He has warmed up for this first-up assignment with two nice trials.

It's time for this guy to stand up and I'd expect James McDonald to be positive from the inside gate to give his mount every chance to show his best.

1 Unit – Armed Forces (3)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 4

RACE 5 - 4:05PM: BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

Cigar Flick (6) heads to the races for the first time since finishing twelfth in the Group 3 Red Roses Stakes during the Melbourne Spring Carnival.

The Chris Waller-trained three-year-old filly raced well last preparation with a win over this distance at Randwick first-up before three very good performances at black-type level.

She was climbing over their backs in a recent trial which suggests she is ready for a bold showing first-up.

She maps to get a nice run behind what looks a solid speed for James McDonald.

2 Units – Cigar Flick (6)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 5

RACE 6 - 4:40PM: BENCHMARK 78 HANDICAP (1550 METRES)

Infinitive (4) looks ready for a peak performance third-up.

The Chris Waller-trained Hellbent mare ran on strongly when resuming over 1400m at Warwick Farm to finish second by half a length.

She then didn't have a great deal of luck last start over 1600m at Randwick when held up in the straight before flashing late for a 1.1 length fourth.

She looked good in a recent tick over trial and did win her only previous third-up race.

2 Units – Infinitive (4)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 6

RACE 7 - 5:15PM: BENCHMARK 72 HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

Angel Fund (1) is racing in great form this preparation and looks well placed again here.

The David Pfeiffer-trained four-year-old mare savaged the line to win by a head over 1100m at Canterbury two starts back.

Last start she worked home strongly in a Midway Handicap at Randwick to finish just under a length second.

She's at peak fitness now and Jason Collett sticking is a plus.

1 Unit – Angel Fund (1)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 7

RACE 8 - 5:50PM: BENCHMARK 72 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

Romeo's Choice (2) will appreciate the drop in class after a good performance last start in a Saturday Benchmark 78 Handicap at Rosehill.

Despite racing three wide the trip, he fought bravely to finish 1.1 lengths fourth.

His form prior to that was excellent with two wins and three placings from five starts.

He has a fitness edge over his main rivals who are resuming.

1 Unit – Romeo's Choice (2)

BET NOW: Kensington Race 8
