There are ten winners to be found on The Golden Eagle Day, and I've previewed all of them below, providing my Randwick best bets.

Scroll down for my 2025 Golden Eagle Tips!

Race 1 - Asahi Super Dry Handicap (1500m) – 12:10pm AEDT

No. 3 Rotagilla

ROTAGILLA is second up and primed to strike in the first on The Golden Eagle Day.

Rotagilla was a model of consistency last time in races not dissimilar to this one, while he returned to action with a fine performance to finish just over half a length behind the winner at Warwick Farm.

With natural improvement, he can win something like this.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 1

Race 2 - Highway Handicap (1400m) – 12:45pm AEDT

No. 8 Concoction

CONCOCTION is yet to turn in a poor effort and is fitting on a crack at a Highway race at Randwick.

Concoction only just missed on debut at Coffs Harbour last month and has since recorded victories at Gunnedah and Armidale.

He's got plenty of upside and something like this looks within his abilities as well.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 2

Race 3 - Precise Air Handicap (1300m) – 1:20pm AEDT

No. 4 Jellicious

JELLICIOUS is unbeaten this time in and rates as a key winning chance again.

Having easily accounted for her rivals in maiden company at Hawkesbury first up this month, the Snitzel mare has since recorded consecutive victories in midweek metro company.

This is another step up in class, but she gets the services of James McDonald again, and I am confident she can go on with it.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 3

Race 4 - Four Pillars Midway (1500m) – 2pm AEDT

No. 1 Meridiana

MERIDIANA looks to be a pretty clear standout top pick in the 2025 Four Pillars Midway field, in my opinion.

The John Sargent-trained mare turned in some fine performances during her three-year-old season and was an impressive winner at BM72 grade when resuming this time.

She does face a rise in class and in the weights this week, but I think she might just be the best horse.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 4

Race 5 - Toyota Forklifts Handicap (2000m) – 2:40pm AEDT

No. 12 United Kingdom

UNITED KINGDOM takes winning form into another winnable race on The Golden Eagle Day 2025.

United Kingdom has improved noticeably with each of three runs since resuming in August and hit the line for an impressive win over 1800m at BM72 grade last time out.

I like that he's been back to the trials since that race and getting out to the 2000m suits as well.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 5

Race 6 - Bisley Workwear Sprint (1100m) – 3:20pm AEDT

No. 8 Istolea Merc

ISTOLEA MERC can continue a glittering Spring Carnival for the Bjorn Baker yard.

Istolea Merc picked off some nice races last time in, but he returned to action this time with arguably his best effort so far to win in BM72 company at Warwick Farm, greeting the judge more than two lengths ahead of his rivals.

He won his only other second-up run so far and with natural improvement, I think he'll take a power of beating again. He is my best bet on the program.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 6

Race 7 - Russell Balding Stakes (1300m) – 4pm AEDT

No. 2 Jimmysstar

JIMMYSSTAR takes his place in the Russell Balding Stakes following an eye-catching performance in The Everest.

The son of Per Incanto is yet to strike in three runs this season, but he has still been excellent, and he is primed to strike from an ideal barrier on Saturday.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 7

Race 8 - The Golden Eagle (1500m) – 4:45pm AEDT

No. 12 Panja Tower

$10 million goes on the line in The Golden Eagle and it's another stunning edition of the race, featuring local and international stars.

AUTUMN GLOW puts her unbeaten record on the line again, but she faces arguably the biggest task of her career so far in this Golden Eagle field, which includes talented Japanese raider, PANJA TOWER.

He won in Group 1 company at Tokyo in May, while he returned to action in August to win again at Sapporo.

He races well fresh and has been set for this race.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 8

Race 9 - Group 3 Rosehill Gold Cup (2000m) – 5:20pm AEDT

No. 6 Wootton Verni

A strong field will assemble for the Rosehill Gold Cup including WOOTTON VERNI, who I have put on top.

Wootton Verni has continued to strip fitter and improve noticeably with each of four runs back this time, and as he has gotten further out in trip, and he was an eye-catching winning of the Group 3 Coongy Cup at Caulfield last time out.

Sticking at the 2000m now looks to suit, as does the booking of James McDonald, and he's in the race well at the weights as well.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 9

Race 10 - Benchmark 78 Handicap (1300m) – 5:55pm AEDT

No. 8 Polyglot

I'm going to give POLYGLOT one last chance to win on The Golden Eagle Day.

He has been a model of consistency throughout his 11 career starts and he's been well in the market of each of his four runs back this time, but he is yet to strike.

He's hard fit now and I don't think he'll be offered a better opportunity to win than this.

 Bet Now: Randwick Race 10
